Another episode of the forgotten 1974 series British Cryptids has been restored, by people whose work seems greatly underappreciated. The Moon Man: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTTw...

Just once, I'd like an "immigration shake-up" to actually *improve* things for asylum seekers, restoring rights rather than taking them away. But no, these only ever go in one direction, and it just happens to be the direction Farage and his troglodyte supporters want. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

A neat little quiz game: Is a headline homophobia from the 80s-90s or transphobia from the 2010s-2020s? Because it's all the same bullshit, repackaged for the hate du jour

Have I Got Phobia For You
Bringing attention to the often harmful practices of our mainstream media. Thankfully the days of vile hostility against gay people are now more or less over, but, reading today’s newspapers, there’s ...

Dear social media team of every organisation on the internet: Did you know? That text box where you're typing "link in bio" or "link in comments" can almost certainly accommodate the actual link instead. You're welcome!

Trans is not an ideology unless you think your right to be who you are is an ideology rather than a basic human right. Let people be who they want to be. Let people do what we all do throughout our lives, just trying to work out how and who to be in a world of challenges.

If your video's title or thumbnail contains "wait for the last one!", "watch till the end!", or anything similar, then I'm not clicking it. Those phrases only ever appear on videos that waste the viewer's time. If there's a bit you particularly want me to see... put it at the start.

No. "Henley Sauce" isn't "set for return". The "news" here is that someone found a Victorian advert for it, and with no further details... designed a bottle? We've no idea what was in it, except, apparently, "Essence of Anchovies".

But let's see what we can find out.

Which is better value - one kitchen roll for £2.50 or 3 for £7? Asda helpfully tells you the price per roll for easy comparison, but they ignore the fact that the single roll is 100 sheets and the 3-pack is three rolls of 70 sheets each. The single roll is better value, at 2½p per sheet vs 3⅓p.
