Just got a whole bunch of new tshirts printed up and not sure if I wasn't paying attention but it wasn't the direct printing I was expecting, these are more like transfers.

I don't think they ever sold in decent numbers, but MS sold the natural keyboards for a few decades.
And I use that style of keyboard these days, even if trying to find a mechanical version wasn't easy.

The trick is to nearest neighbor scaling the image very large to keep the chunky pixels in the final result.
Or they blur it when they try to scale it.
