I am pissed but I understand. I’m not the snap holder or government employee out of benefits or a job. I can stand for principles but I can’t make a stand on the back of someone else’s sacrifice. Fuck the Republicans and all I can say is vote. Vote them all out in 2028.

On Threads, the usual suspects are telling ppl about to lose SNAP benefits to just start a garden. As a gardener, I had to laugh. You need at LEAST an acre of land to feed a family of 4. Start-up costs are enormous. But yes, subsistence farming on the balcony of your rental apartment is the answer

Yesterday, at the rally, felt enormous relief in that I realized I wasn’t alone politically. I’m not completely powerless. He’s not all powerful. And just maybe we’re gonna be alright
