Believes we can reclaim power as the people over corporations and wealth
Today I learned that in CRT tvs the tube has to be able to contain x-rays. This is done by making the glass out of a lead-glass in the back of the tube, and the front being a mixture of strontium and barium glass. Lead isn't used for the face because it browns as it interacts with x-rays.

Apparently the US categorization of tomatoes as vegetables is a legal thing dating back to 1893

Under this regime the Epstein Files will go nowhere. They have control of them. They are the distraction. The public opinion of ineptitude is a pacifier. Don't underestimate the enemy. They are about to be handed what they want.

The regime has control of the Epstein files. They may suck at that control, but they do have control of them. Currently the files are acting as a distraction from how a war in the region of Venezuela (they appear to have screwed the pooch on direct war) enables the use of the alien enemies act.

Watch this. Watch again.

"This incredible thing last night... We have to do it again [in other countries]. We can do it again, too. Nobody can stop us."

It feels like their is an approach to each thing this regime does as isolated things, or about a singular issue. It has to be more than that. I'd rather beat an idiot thinking their a genius than lose to someone mediocre because I underestimate them.

He doesn't want a peaceful transfer of power. It's about trying to start a war with the country he was just told he needs to be at war with to make use of the Alien Enemies Act valid. The oil is a given either way. Chaos in media, and making it harder to track it all is a bonus.

The approach politicians are taking to their statements about the attack on Venezuela reads like they are preemptively repeating the theme of "Do you condemn hamas"
January 3, 2026 at 9:19 PM
Is he going to wait for his yes-men in congress to call it war, or is he just gonna declare it so and try using the Alien Enemies Act again?

I've just realized the devices to replace my smartphone capabilities lost in buying my phonephone cost less than the smartphone all combined, phone included.

AI is being used as a means of dumping accountability for public harms by corporations.
This is a thread of major media outlets falsely anthropomorphising the "Grok" chatbot program and in doing so, actively and directly removing responsibility and accountability from individual people working at X who created a child pornography generator (Elon Musk, Nikita Bier etc)

I just realized the dead pixel on my tv looks a different color based on viewing angle. Is there a hardware person that can explain why?

If you genuinely have good prompts to generate cool images, write books. If your prompts are seriously good, you should be able to make a good book. What greater use of prompts than stirring the imaginations of others?

Got a dvd from the library today. Binged the whole season of Schitts Creek. I'm looking forward to going back and getting the next couple seasons, and maybe a game. I do wish they categorized the movies so they were easier to look through
