All the walk-on-water stories cannot erase from my firm belief that last year's "backyard ball" story was a fake set-up, designed to add to a resume for post-career hof qualification. 🤷♀️. A set-up that reeked of pre-planned orchestration.

I was circling the Harlem Meer early this morning when I heard a big splash. An Osprey had just tried to nab breakfast as it flew over Central Park. A Red-winged Blackbird also took notice and escorted him west toward New Jersey! 😂😂😂 #Osprey #CentralPark #birding

Just say a player goes into a really bad slump to the point where they're in danger of maybe not staying on the parent club. Was that faux marriage over the off season really worth it? Maybe wait until you've "made it", at least, before making that life move.
