If you like thin mints, you'll like this one. Personally, I would cut the creme de menthe back to a quarter ounce, but that's just me. If you abhor mint, I'd just substitute another half ounce of creme de cacao for the creme de menthe. Overall, this is definitely a perfect drink for the holiday season and one that goes down too quickly.

In fact, this makes for a great dessert drink if you tend to avoid super sweet libations. Kudos to whomever dreamed up this luscious beverage. A surprisingly dry cocktail that is perfectly balanced. A great after dinner drink. I'm not sure why the wine glass is recommended. Personally, I would use a regular cocktail glass served up. And add some white chocolate shavings as a garnish. I would also multiply the ingredients X2. But, regardless, this is a great dessert cocktail. Anyone know where this originated?

Warlander blends three-and four-year old Kentucky Straight Rye and Bourbon whiskeys, melding the fruit forward and baking spice notes of Kentucky Straight Rye with the depth and spice of High-Rye Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
