36 hours after my 2nd shingles shot I feel normal again. That was a weird one. But no regrets!

Let’s talk about sedition and treason, because the most powerful yet inadequate man in the world is having a tantrum about it, and his soulless, spineless sycophants are boosting his message.

Rough morning. I hate that the shutdown is over without any gain. I'm angry.

Bad sleeping last night, likely for the same reason. Ugh.

Hoping some sunshine gets me turned around.

PREACH!
I see James Watson has died.

What did Watson discover?

Rosalind Franklin's lab notes.

Only we spell it 'S-T-E-A-L' these days.

Please wear a mask.
people making light of their post-covid infection brain damage makes me so sad. it doesn’t have to be this way. masking is *extremely* effective in helping prevent a myriad of airborn illnesses. you don’t *have^ to get covid again if you just take basic precautions. covid damage is cumulative.

If MJ ever wonders, #NMrollcall kinda falls apart when she's not at the helm. We miss our leader and hope she's enjoying her guests.

I'm enjoying a raspberry sucker and a blue tongue. Yay leftover candy.

Glad to see cities and states make a big statement with their votes Tues.

Enjoy Fall, y'all

Saw my favorite dog today. Known him since he was a pup, now 120 lbs. First thing his human said when I arrived, "I still can't believe he doesn't bark at you." I'm not; he knows I'm part of his pack since day 1. Love that big goof and his older (canine) brother.

Now, where's the lint roller?

Vile
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

As a historian, I can certify that we are in the bad times. But bad times eventually end.
In the meantime:
• Figure out a small way to help someone
• Figure out a small way to fight back
• Figure out a small place to find joy
• Figure out a small way to grow and thrive

And do it often.
