Saddleback tamarin (Leontocebus fuscicollis), also called Andean saddle-back tamarins, are not equipped to extract tree gums. They lay in wait for pygmy marmosets to gouge holes in trees and bully the smaller monkeys away from their quarry. Widespread and common, no major threats imperil them.

I think one of the saddest and maddening aspects of the past several weeks is that so many Americans have no conception of the damage that has been done. They will be poorer, sicker, and less secure.
