A hand forged gnomon-less sundial, i.e. lacks a typical gnomon. The chasing on the dial plate are a Wild Mountain Rose and the Colorado Columbine that grow on the side of our caldera.

Couple years ago had an ischemic stroke. Was a respected mathematician at a National Lab and OK banjo player. Lost math and music. Of course some might contend the banjo isn’t a real loss.
