Sometimes, I do a bit of scribbling; occasionally, neat pictures happen.

If I plan on posting here in the future, I should probably introduce myself beyond just a bio and saying "I'm here," so...

Name's GMRez, and for the most part, I do the occasional bit of scribbling, I've started dabbling in cosplay, and I make a damn good spicy chili, if I do say so myself.

And this is why I worry about my livelihoods just about every day.

If you actually think slop this is passable or support it, there’s the door.
The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

Sounds like a fun idea, so why not?

This is admittedly from a while ago; inspired by a Bernie Wrightson piece I'd seen. It's probably one of the best pieces I've made, and I've had a few people that have seen it tell me it's one of their favorites, too.

Just finished watching Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein.

All the praise it's been given is beyond deserved, and anything I could say about it has been said by just about everyone, save maybe this: I am beyond glad that del Toro was able to get this movie made, given how long he's wanted to do it.

Just got back from seeing Predator: Badlands.

Overall, I enjoyed it; certainly don't regret seeing it in the theater... but I *really* don't think I agree with the Rotten Tomatoes scores (that I remember seeing, at least) putting it as the third-highest rated Predator movie.

After a bit more than a month, I can now say I have beaten Hollow Knight. A few of my post-game thoughts:

Overall, I enjoyed my time with the game, despite a couple minor qualms.

I wish the bosses had health meters.

I finally started creating on YouTube. I'll be playing certain games there that I don't necessarily want to live stream on Twitch. If you have a moment, any sort of engagement with my first video would mean a lot!

Was able to get meds and I'm re-acclimating. Slowly getting better but still a mess and getting whalloped by bills. Putting the link out again:

Just finished the second Shadow book, "The Eyes of the Shadow;" I think I actually enjoyed this one more than the first. Felt like it had a bit more tension in places than The Living Shadow, and we're also "introduced" to Lamont Cranston, so that's neat.

Cool moment from the Shadow book I'm currently reading. Posting it as an image like this because I didn't trust my camera to get a good enough pic of the pages, and didn't want to risk using the scanner, seeing how it's an older, used paperback.

Just finished the first Shadow book, "The Living Shadow."

Very enjoyable read, despite some writing being very... "of its time," but still looking forward to reading more.
Also; it's really interesting seeing how different the book's take on the character is to the radio show's.
