Tens of millions of pounds back in the pockets of working class women here in Sheffield.

Great to meet some of our members who have fought for and won equal pay.

Pay justice is coming - solidarity. ✊

Great to join Farzana, @gmbcampaigns.bsky.social President, on a visit to Sheffield Children’s Hospital yesterday.

Thanks to Sal and the fantastic ward clerks team for meeting with me and for the invaluable work you all do.

Great to be back in Barrow with @gmbnwi.org.uk’s Denise Walker and our fantastic shop stewards.

Huge investment in the skilled workforce on site, with the local Debenhams being converted to train thousands of apprentices.

Great news for the local economy and for our national security.

So proud of team GMB today.

Sharon was such a strong voice for our members in the potteries - we need action on energy prices now to save our ceramics industry.

And brilliant to see big Matt from Hinkley Point introducing the Chancellor - onwards to Sizewell C! #Lab25

Oil and gas jobs are at risk.

Without action - the populist Right will exploit this. Climate deniers will have a field day.

Reform would gut our green industries - putting thousands of jobs at risk.

But people need to see the benefits of green energy policies, with jobs in every community.

That's why we've launched Climate Jobs UK with @prospectunion.bsky.social 🙌

For generations, the ceramics industry has provided skilled jobs and supported working class communities across Stoke-on-Trent.

It's now under threat from rocketing energy costs and unfair competition with cheap imports.

We need action on energy bills to save the Potteries.

Our calls for investment in new nuclear fell on deaf ears under the Tories.

This Labour government listens. And acts.

Great to get the chance to support striking whisky workers at InBeverage today.

The company celebrates profit-boosting trade deals negotiated by the Labour government.

They should also support the basic rights the government is legislating for - union recognition & bargaining.

Solidarity with brother @anassarwar.bsky.social

Nigel Farage’s Reform is about fear, hate and division.

Our movement is about hope, solidarity and unity. ✊

Carers do vital work and deserve to be paid properly.

Fair pay agreements give us the chance to raise wages through collective bargaining - key to filling 130,000 care vacancies.

Tories can spare us the policy review and start by apologising to carers for their Covid failures.

Gas will be with us for decades to come - supporting jobs, heating homes and powering industry.

We desperately need investment in gas storage, it’s vital for our energy security.

Our members at AstraZeneca produce life changing medicines and the 5,500 skilled jobs on site are vital to the local community in Macclesfield.

Thank you to our shop stewards, Ant and Peter, for meeting with me last week and talking me through your campaigns.

Nigel Farage’s Reform are soft on Russia, voted against your rights at work, and want to sell off the NHS.

They’re no friend to working people.

When they bring division and hate, we must choose solidarity and hope.

Great to be out in Northumberland listening to our members in the care sector.

Even after all they went through in the pandemic, care workers are not properly valued.

It’s time for pay and conditions in the sector that reflect the incredible work they do.
