Just setting up my blsky
OMG
Excited to announce I'll be joining Cloudflare next month as a Systems Engineer on the Workers Runtime team, continuing to work on the platform-level intersection of JavaScript and WebAssembly.

And in the mean time, I will be taking a much needed break and dusting off some OSS work...

Anyone know of an "AI agent" platform that can email someone for a response then push-notify me when they reply? And maintain context throughout it all?

This feels like it ought to exist already but I haven't been watching the space closely for long so I haven't seen it done.

call you cf workers directly from claude

this is interesting
Been working on making it possible to connect Claude Desktop to a Cloudflare Worker using the new MCP spec, and it works!

You write some functions in a Worker, document them with JSDoc, and then they show up in Claude for you to use. It's kinda magical.

Man, being able to chat with my Cloudflare account is next level. 🤯

I just asked Claude to "give me a list of all users stored in the prod D1 database" and, well, that's exactly what it did. The same goes for interacting with R2, even creating objects and deleting everything after testing. 😮
So the @cloudflare.social team shipped an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server built on Workers: github.com/cloudflare/m...

You can use it to *ask questions about your Cloudflare infra* via the Claude desktop app right now.

Lots of 🦋 vs ⚔️ takes here, but one thing that I just realised: how refreshing it is to be in a place that's _growing_, not one that's in its death throes.

It's like the first few hours of a house party where more cool folks you haven't seen in ages keep showing up.

In the spirit of treating 🦋 like Twitter circa 2010, I tidied my office so I could take a photo of it and post it here.

🚀 New: I made an instrument that plays only pentatonic scales. It's called PENTABLASTER and there are no wrong notes.
