One of the worst parts? Being judged by people who don’t know everything and can’t understand your trauma. They can be downright mean. It was all a huge learning lesson on everyone in my life. The strangest part? Most see themselves as too wise for it to happen to them. All it takes is one abuser.

I’d say that’s a pretty radical change from what it was before. All because of the ego of a male who felt rejected so intentionally harmed me. They may harm one person, but their harmful intent reaches so many more, like happens with an ICE victim.
