This is a fairly terrifying read, particularly if you have any knowledge of how the NHS tries to function. Just those six words: Flu has come five weeks early.

Can I please ask all my followers in the US (a surprising number from Kansas for some reason, which is epic) to pass two messages on for your orange grievance merchant in chief?

First - Leave the BBC out of your lying mouth.

Second - #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles.

Please and thank you.

“My whole life, my real life, unfolded here. This is home, heart and bone.”

A beautiful, uplifting thread.

Shame on you, Shabana Mahmood
I came to this country as a child refugee. No English, no certainty, no idea what my life could become. Britain gave me refuge.

Not on a timer, not with conditions attached, but with a chance to grow roots.

UK set to limit refugees to temporary stays
Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

Gah! Order a jacket. Check website sizing carefully against another garment because 'women's clothes'. Arrives: too small. To return it I have to pay the return fee BEFORE I get a refund. And I can't get to a shop selling this brand and I live in a major city.

My GP practice seems to have had its repeat prescription service amended for it - again. More confusing than ever. I don't blame the doctors at all, but the software suppliers

Let's hope 2025 turns out to be an annus horribilis for this horrible anus of a man...
A week of racism scandals, phantom audits, public meltdowns in Kent, and a Russia problem that just won’t die - it’s been a hell of a time for Reform UK.

Meanwhile, the government quietly admits Brexit’s to blame for the mess.

Nigel’s very bad week indeed.
Nigel and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Week
From racist MPs to phantom audits, Reform UK’s revolution is starting to look less “take back control” and more “lost the password again.”

What we were discussing earlier, @yorkshirebylines.co.uk
Just a shame that Britain has gutted its local newspaper industry so there's nobody to investigate Reform councils, or tell voters just how fucking useless, dangerous and dysfunctional Reform are when in power...
If you are watching the Reform Party controlled Councils with their endless mishaps, resignations, fallouts, scandals, mismanagement and sheer comedic idiocy, but still thinking of making these clowns a national government, representing the UK on the global stage, you are literally insane.

Had to call HMRC. Hold 25+ minutes. Two cheeful, helpful staff members. Query answered. If it doesn't work, just give us a call back and we'll have a look.
My guess is they are chronically understaffed which is why the wait time.

fundamentally the problem is that if you think "hotels are where I stay on holiday and I like being on holiday so living in a hotel must be fun and it's not fair others get to do it and not me" then you have the intellectual reasoning of a little child and it's going to be hard to engage with you
