Curious has anyone else noticed the Nextdoor app being used to push right wing propaganda? I've noticed if I argue well enough they will delete the comment I reply to in order to delete all my comments. So I just started to @ them in the main thread. A lot of them seem to be moderators #nextdoor

I am primarily focusing on supporting small businesses. I also ask the business if they support the current administration before I shop with them. Personally doing everything I can to not support fascists. The more we confront the problem the less likely it is to persist. Just do it respectfully.

Here is a great resource to check your state's laws on protecting democracy. If you don't like any of the missing policies call your state government and make it known. The integrity of our elections is going to be something we absolutely need to protect.

When we win this fight we need to have a plan in place for how to ensure checks and balances actually work. We need to end the electoral college and institute term limits for any non elected position. Gerrymandering needs to be addressed. And upper age limits need to be placed on Congress. #optimism

Really pleased that our meta-analysis on prejudice confrontation (with @lilitou.bsky.social) has now been published in Psychological Bulletin. We find that confronting prejudice is an effective bias reduction technique (but there is more research to be done!): doi.org/10.1037/bul0...

When we win this fight we need to make sure we choose leaders that don't sit around using inaction as a tactic. We need fighters like @aoc.bsky.social and @repjasmine.bsky.social get the rest out and replace them with people that will fight for the people!

Which Republican Congress members are the most likely to flip? I feel like we need to figure out as a country who in this system is someone to focus on. I know still directing attention locally, and what states that have 2026 elections can we support the Dems in those areas?
