Finally! Somebody said what needs to be said - accurately and bluntly. The media seriously needs to take some cues from this - it's factual AND entertaining, all while throwing a cold glass of water in your face with the potential to wake people up to take action. I laughed but probably cried more.

Just a small reminder that the last time the U.S. was #1 in shipbuilding was during WW2. Before that, it was in the 1800s. Someone's really aching to turn back time..

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.
18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.
