This is sad and an absolute shocker. I remember him well because of his unique role and it being deployed in the 2015 WS, much the same as how in the '70s, A's owner Charlie Finley utilized former track star Herb Washington. Gore was only 34. And NO ONE in the U.S. should die during routine surgery.
