Nephew (5) loves loves loves my xmas book this year. SIL isn't allowed to read anything else. 3rd time I made him one - my fav tradition.
I might rewrite and redraw them for sub eventually... maybe.... #kidlit #kidlitart

2023. Went to Bologna & Israel. Illustrated one US trad book. Illustrated a lot of commercial things. Book, board game, activity book. Starting trad title this week, plus 1-2 commercial PB due in spring.
And my agent quit. So basically, 2023 was me querying. #artvsartist2023 #kidlitart

Last final art revisions today, just added a squirrel. Then finishing my nephew's xmas book.
Still stuck inside, door still frozen. Dog has learned that he gets treats if I lift him back inside, instead of climbing out the window.
