This crisis is a choice & a GOP-made problem. Republicans are choosing to hold families hostage by cutting SNAP, a lifeline that helps millions meet their basic needs. Cutting it off in the middle of rising grocery costs & record food insecurity is immoral and cruel.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Rocco Telese, one of East Boston’s last World War II veterans. Rocco served honorably in the U.S. Army with the 85th Infantry Division in Italy, earning a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his bravery on the Gothic Line.

I introduced a resolution condemning the Trump administration’s attack on climate protections. This reckless decision strips the EPA of its authority to regulate climate pollution, undermines decades of progress, & disregards the tireless efforts of environmental justice advocates.
