It's so cool how a bunch of kids realized there was a genocide in the middle east in 2023 and now suddenly every major company and government is tripping over their own dicks to turn the world into an Orwllian surveillance state so that never happens again.

This is 100% what had to have happened.
I find it difficult to believe that management in the 2xko team legit thought they were going to hit any numbers given to them by Riot. What I can believe is them going well we'll do the best we can because if we tell them the numbers are absurd they'll cancel the game tomorrow.
I feel on some minor level the atmosphere must have turned one where the leads just nodded with every metric they were told to hit and rode that cashcow for a decade to milk it for as long as they could.
