Replaying FFXIV ARR after playing Dawntrail made me realize what I missed the most: actual storyboarding and camera usage.
I noticed ARR had more focus on the camera and expressions. Animators didn't hesitate to add new animation when needed. My fave is the 2.5 cutscenes. Cinema in its own right

This time I'm setting up my room in a way I can play with my mother who loves to use the Wii for Wii Sport and Wii Fit!
We are both not getting younger so this is a good way to bond AND exercise.

The more I think about it...maybe Basil's kingdom is more Dongfang Xuanhuan. I love dressing him in fantasy chinese clothing, plus him having long hair is such a perfect fit!! My brain tingles!!!

I caved back into WWM. Sorry for being a disappointment. It's the one game I play with my sibling. I ended up giving it another chance. I may not agree with LLMs or whatever is going on in voice acting in EN and to an extent extra CN npc, yet everything else seems OK. We'll see.
