I was delighted to greet former #Taiwan President Tsai Ing-Wen at her House of Lords presentation this morning. Her speech emphasised growing friendly Taiwan-UK ties at a time of growing challenges facing liberal democracies. The people of Taiwan should be left to chart their own future!

It is clear Trump administration wanting to bully their neighbours, no matter at what cost. Well done to Zelensky to hold his head high and not submit to this bullying tactics. Europe, it is time for you to take the lead. #standwithukraine
This is thuggery from Trump and Vance, plain and simple.
They are bullying the brave true patriot Zelensky into accepting a deal which effectively hands victory to Russia. Unless the UK and Europe step up, we are facing a betrayal of Ukraine.
