Another thing that bothers me about the Sakamoto Lancers is choices made in the English translation that DIMINISH narratively significant lines b/t versions by translating them differently!! In their Rider NP, they translate his one NP line as "I alone know the truth of my deeds." Great!! BUT--
I really love the Lancer version a lot but it makes me a little sad that we did not get an alternate NP portrait insert like their Rider version. I can't help but wonder what that would have looked like. Maybe they would have been holding hands? 🥺
