Great to see my colleagues' work on antimicrobial resistance featured! Higher temperatures increase survival of human gut bacteria in the environment& increased flooding increase transmission through human exposure to polluted water - a growing threat! @uniofexeter.bsky.social #ClimateChange #AMR
As part of AMR Awareness Week today we're looking at how human-induced pollution exacerbates AMR in the environment.

Our research highlights the danger of AMR in our waters, how human activities add to the accumulation of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria and antimicrobials.
