After having a baby and being at home pretty much all of the time - to not miss one second of her - I just went to the @nordicgame.com conference in Malmö and it was very inspiring. Met a lot of old and made new friends and played promising games from the new generation of devs. 1/2

One super helpful resource of game dev knowledge is the GDC vault: www.gdcvault.com
Even without an account and a very pricey entry fee, you have free access to more content than the GDC talks on YT alone. In some cases, you only get the slides, but they can be insightful as well. 1/3

Being in game dev is wild. On the one hand, I turned my hobby into my profession and that's awesome. On the other hand, I can mostly not talk about it and it's not even that interesting anyway - it's hard, oftentimes messy and stressful work. I just wish, more people understood how it works. 1/3

I gotta say, I really enjoy my time with the PlayStation Portal (playing Teardown). Out of the box, it’s pretty much flawless for me, but I also just got it after major updates from Sony. Great job. Now my wife can watch trash TV on my 4K OLED and I‘m only a little bit bitter about it. 😄

After more than 9 years we finally met again to play our traditional „Heldenliga“ for the 40th birthday of one of us. We‘ve come from Hamburg, Zurich and Erfurt to meet in Berlin and play EA FC for a few hours. And of course catch up. I love it.
