A fading red poinsietta leaf on a block of ice that formed in a bucket during our recent cold spell. Resulting image heavily processed in Lightroom.

A curled and fading red Poinsettia leaf on a block of ice rescued from a bucket where it had formed during our recent cold spell. The ice has a curved edge on the right hand side of the image creating an 'escarpment' with the poinsettia leaf sat next to the curved ridge line. A red Led light was used to illuminte the ice and in post processing the tones were adjusted to darken the whole image and the ice and to heighten the colour of the ice resulting in a dark and glassy look to the curved ridge line of the ice and on the downslope of the escarpment.
