This book is riveting and so, so infuriating. It follows 5 families in Atlanta who are struggling to remain housed and paints deeply compassionate portraits of each unit. It reads almost like a novel but is outstanding journalism

I don't think people realize that so many essential items we use on a daily basis are imported. I'm not talking about chotchkies but things like batteries, medical supplies, medications, and clothing. The tubes and caps to toothpaste (made here) are imported. MAGAS are about to find out real soon.
