End of an era, today. My back had gone into complete spasm, caused by extreme coughing fits, so I took my mother's last ever valium tablet (she died last year).

Tried to get my real ID. I had my license, my SS card and my birth certificate.
I was not allowed to get my real ID because my birth name is different than my married name. Now I have to go dig up a marriage certificate. You know who wouldn’t have to do this? A man.

My father was studying in Detroit during the race riots of '67. As an Australian, his stories seemed like they belonged in a different world. Sad to see it all playing out on my nightly news now. Plus ça change. Solidarity to the protesters.

I won the quiz. By a lot. Like, A LOT.
