Thinking and considering a soulmate au in which Mel and Jayce are soulmates who feel each others pain, and that's how they know they are soulmates. It's also how, after the events of season 2, Mel knows that Jayce is not dead though he is missing.

Thinking about a decision to leave Mel hwei au. Where enigmatic artist Hwei has chosen the darker path, and in Mel he sees light and goes as far to clean the murder scenes because he knows blood triggers her trauma. Mel is drawn to him as well, for reasons she doesn't understand.
