AMAZING NEWS MEL NATION! 💛

Papasmoothie, the Executive Producer on Wild Rift, replied DIRECTLY to us on twitter.

They've acknowledged the whitewashing of Mel and have promised that she will look accurate to her Arcane design upon her release in March! This is why we should always speak up!

It’s important to us that all champions, not just Mel, appear as they do in Runeterra. I've also seen the communities comments and feedback surrounding some of our other champions as well, and I’ll be working with the team to assess our roster and ensure everyone matches their canon look. In case you missed it, Arcane Mel was the 8th best selling skin in China in 2025!

Prestige skins are not included in the list but considering how high the other winter skins are, it's safe to assume that the Winterblessed Mel skin probably did *really* well.
