8) Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
The Gameboy feels like a fake console sometimes. Weird first game where there are just normal monsters and spell cards, but you can only play 1 card a turn. Weird version of the game, just numbers go up like Dragon Quest 1, but actually pretty addicting getting extra cards

Played through SRW X recently and it reminded me how much there was in the show that I did like, so I'm closer to getting around to the movie versions.
Heard they ironed out a lot of my issues, but no ending credits theme and eye catches every 20 minutes. 🤔

I found out that you can reuse a decades old calendar if its year’s dates line up with the current year’s, so this year I got a lovely 1998 Xena: Warrior Princess calendar. The way they added show events into it is cracking me up.

I am in no way surprised that SNK would use AI here, their marketing team wants to make sure there's no goodwill left. This feels like the death of Gainax all over again and it sucks.

They LOVE spikes in this one. I get why they made it in the style of the NES games, which they did a great job with, but it still feels like a step back from 8. Slots in with the first 6 but maybe not as good due to the often frustrating challenge. Good but not one I'll really remember.
