Knowing what I do about the Dynalife contract and seeing the news stories today about the auditor general report, it's obvious why there is mistrust of media.

Just absolute incompetence.

The left is mad because they're the ones who like to use indigenous groups to push their agenda.

Indigenous groups are nothing but pawns to most people.
Prime Minister Mark Carney is open to the federal government facilitating equity ownership for First Nations in Ksi Lisims LNG and related infrastructure — a tactic critics say is akin to laundering fossil fuel subsidies through Indigenous nations.

This is just a masturbation of tired clichés by a guy who is clearly high on his own supply.
Speaking as an Albertan, so much of that anger has been carefully spoon-fed to the people by provincial governments casting blame for their own incompetence and repeated failures.

I actually agree with one of the points of legislation introduced by the UCP today but not for the bigoted and anti-science reasons they give to justify it.

I really don't care what politicians do in their private life if they are competent and ethical.
Sanna Marin, the 30-something Prime Minister of Finland, became the subject of intense media scrutiny when videos of her clubbing went viral. The Finnish press were “smelling blood,” she said. Her new memoir is an effort to set the record straight.

The problem with road safety is it isn't about speed limits.
It's about road design.

Divided highways are designed for the higher limits. Everyone is already driving faster than the current limit.

If you want people to drive slower, then you need to change the road design, not the speed limit.
After mostly eliminating red light and speeding cameras in cities, Alberta Transportation Minister Devin Dreeshen is now considering raising speed limits on rural highways to 120 km/hr. www.alberta.ca/release.cfm?...

I think we need new definitions of the political spectrum:

People who think there are always simple solutions to complex problems.

People who understand that solutions to complex problems are, well... complex, and require compromise and/or incremental progress instead of immediate results.

I fact checked it for them. It didn't go well.
