Yup, yup, plant care can help with anxiety or mental health, just 'cause it can make us feel productive and helpful, much in the same way as helping other people. But less stressful if you ask me... don't need to worry about the social fuss.

Some plants are more finnicky than others. The one I
huh. not sure if i believe that..

but i guess lookin' after my buddy helps me, even if he's not a full plant, he kinda does the same thing.

is it that easy-?
Just 'cause they look nice, mostly. There's also studies that confirm that looking after plants and looking at them can make you feel more positive and healthier, too.

Actually, quite a few houseplants are toxic if you eat 'em or touch their sap. And there's even a variety of carnivorous ones...

"You say something like that, but then go on to wax poetic about the rest of outer space... I mean, it's not like I've got any first-hand experience with what's out there, nor do a lot of humans, and I might sound way too callous for saying this, but is just like.. y'know, just rocks and space out -

"But yes, when we are truly out there … Perhaps then we'll stop mistaking our cage for a cathedral."

The corner of his mouth twitching in something that is almost a smile.

"Until then, Clay, try not to romanticize the sun... It burns everything it embraces."

Spectacular: Colourful 'candyfloss' gas clouds in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a nearby dwarf galaxy.

The colours, created using different light filters, reveal details invisible to the naked eye and highlight the cloud's structure

.. what's the reason of it all?

are any of them deadly? or is it because it looks nice?
i need scutt that looks nice.
It's never too late to give it a shot! I only got into it myself rather recently... with some research and practice, it's not too difficult to get the hang of.

M17 - The Omega Nebula is about 5500 light-years from Earth and roughly 15 light-years in diameter.
It is low on the horizon and obscured by trees for me but I managed to get an hour on it last night.
