I've just finished the first draft of my #WIP. 🥳

The final 2k took me about as long as the first 70+k!

Gonna celebrate with a decaf coffee, and then think about edits before seeking a fresh #betareader or two.

I'm a few hundred words away from finishing my #WIP, the 10th novel I've written and the 1st one I feel is perfect for querying.

Took me 16 years (and 10 novels) to reach a point where I feel I'm in with a great chance of wooing an agent.

Some writers cannot tolerate rejection and they quit submitting. I guarantee that if you don't submit your work you won't sell your work.

If you are a fragile person - enlist a family member or friend to run your submissions for you. You keep writing.
