Never had a company car.
Just an add on to my concerns about judges (recommended by the JAC who are appointed by the Lord Chancellor)

“The Lord Chancellor in the UK is appointed by the sovereign on the advice of the Prime Minister. Currently, David Lammy has been appointed as the Lord Chancellor”

No politics here then.

All right wing economics are obfuscation. Zack Polanski is great at pointing this out. Does anyone really think that if some billionaires puss off to the Caymans the country will fall apart? Bonkers!!

Why is it so hard to understand that if the NHS costs, say, £100 billion a year, you need £100 billion in tax to pay for it. If you don’t want to take that tax for it you can’t have it. That means users have to pay at point of service. That works SO well in the US.

The principle of jury equity is an important constitutional safeguard that dates back to the 17th century and has been affirmed in our highest courts, making it what the judgment called “an established feature of our Constitutional Landscape”

I was thinking about “let’s use “British” people and was reminded of this:

“He appreciated the difficulty experienced in procuring suitable Protestant labour, Roman Catholics were endeavoring to get in everywhere. He would appeal to loyalists, to employ good Protestant lads and lassies.” Brooke

When Rishi Sunak made the Vaccine deal with Moderna as Chancellor, he had up to £530m invested in Moderna.

Now Michelle Mone is desperately bringing it up.

Like if you want Mone on trial.
RT if you want them both facing the music.

Fascist Reform leader Richard Tice would get REALLY upset if you shared this widely on all forms of social media so lots of people can keep it and bring it out before the next election to show that he is as big a liar as Keir Starmer.

So please don't, he would be *very* upset.

“In the broadest sense, welfare refers to the wellbeing of individuals, families and the community. The terms welfare and wellbeing are often used interchangeably. “

Sophie Livingstone, Little Village’s CEO, said: “Families are having to make choices about spending money on heating or eating.”

“Labour should slash the welfare bill by £20 billion in an attempt to balance the nation’s books, according to one of its influential MPs.”

Bit of a mismatch

Could someone explain to me the difference now between Labour and Reform?

ITV has said it is in "preliminary" discussions to sell its television business to Sky for £1.6bn

So much for the initials that stood for Independent Tele Vision

There is a reason that 95 per cent of the public don't trust real estate agents. Misleading conduct is endemic throughout the industry.

(Daily Mail April 2025)

Daily mail at it already

“But real estate agents fear his victory will spark a mass exodus from the Big Apple and critics - including Wall Street - have warned his policies could cripple the city's economy.”

Like we suddenly start trusting real estate agents??

Funny dreams seem to be big on here. Can I throw in the one where I married the 13th Doctor and Yaz was our daughter?

It’s funny - every time I post on here a bit I get followed by someone who’s never posted anything and whose photo is of a young woman with not many clothes on. Clearly a scam coz the “ Are you on WhatsApp” messages then arrive. I just can’t work out what they want. If it’s money - no chance!

Today’s returns. Total outlay to me £9.50. Which went to charity of course. I think I’m on a winner here. I enjoyed all of them particularly like Life on the Street. Forgot Munch was in it!! Still got second series to watch

Just realized that charity shops are the new Blockbusters. I find myself going in and getting a couple of DVDs for less than £2 each (benefit to charity as well), then when I’ve watched them I return them to the shop (just like Blockbuster). Someone else can then enjoy them and also support charity

A Catholic priest who admitted discussing bombing mosques and shooting black people in the head in neo-Nazi online chatrooms has been sentenced to a 12-month community order.
Father Mark Rowles, 57, went by the name "skinheadlad1488"

I guess he missed the love and kindness module at seminary
