‘Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing’ is one of the most British TV programmes I have ever seen.
I couldn’t imagine anything like this being broadcast anywhere else.
It is simply joyous.
And I hate fishing.
Even though they release them.

‘Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing’ is one of the most British TV programmes I have ever seen.
I couldn’t imagine anything like this being broadcast anywhere else.

Today I walked past these two old Central London Railway buildings at Wood Lane. My old tube train depot used to be here. Scenes for ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ were filmed there in the 80s. I remember pools of fluorescent green goo in the road.
Depot stabling is now underground.
