Check out my newest paper! We used multiplexed single-cell imaging to uncover interesting subpopulations of senescent cells. The coolest thing we found was that these different subpopulations arise at different times and have different SASP profiles.

Multiplexed single-cell imaging reveals diverging subpopulations with distinct senescence phenotypes during long-term senescence induction - PubMed
Cellular senescence is a phenotypic state that contributes to the progression of age-related disease through secretion of pro-inflammatory factors known as the senescence-associated secretory phenotyp...

Meet Garrett Sessions, a PhD student how studies how healthy cells transition into senescent cells in response to stress, with a focus on how they develop into the kind of senescent cell that drives tissue level disease. We are thrilled to have Garrett on our team! 🧫🔬📚
