Remember, countless people are out here living with the consequences of abuse and SA, while their abusers get off scott free, have friends and find success in life and will never see justice. Watching the most "powerful" of them do the same is not great to watch.

It would be a shame if this attack on some of the worst people in our society ended up also doing additional harm to survivors, when it’s maybe one of the most important moments to be supportive of them.
As files and emails and such start to come out, I’m just kindly asking everyone to remember that a very large percentage of people have experienced sexual assault in their lifetime, and we can definitely do better in how we talk about this subject.

In person I have trouble detecting sarcasm and in text I REALLY struggle with it. So just idk keep that in mind when talking to me please? If I think I see sarcasm, but I'm not 100% certain, it's pretty much a guaranteed convo killer.

While I'm super relieved that the Supreme Court has rejected yet another assault on same-sex marriage, this is a reminder that marriage equality still does not exist in the U.S.
People with disabilities shouldn't have to choose between love and essential benefits and resources.

Of the 8 places that give food only 1 isn't a church. One of those churches is the Salvation Army.
Food is being given but very little. I've seen no oils, cheese, butter, broth, spices or even salt and pepper. Some of the basics to prep the produce that's given.

Finally found a local food bank. It was much nicer than the last. Let me pick food. Trouble was I was only allowed to grab for "one or two days" and next time I can see them is the 17th.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
