Spruce forest.
Good overall spring growth.
Getting the lead tree to put more growth from the mid trunk area is working.
Will take a bit more vigour out of top to encourage this.
Otherwise tweezer weeding.

7 x spruce trees. 2 large and tall lead trees in the middle with 5 small trees to the sides and behind. Planted in a dark earth coloured pot with moss around the edges. A small figurine person sitting and reading a book is to the left of the lead trees.

中央道🍄原PAにて、今年は地味な子たちばかりだなあと思ってしゃがみ込んだらなんかいい色してるし、形もラブリーでした😃
うちの近所には🎈さんの仲間が全く生えないのでいまいち見当が付かないですが、もしかしてアレかなぁと🤔

中央道🍄原PAにて、ここにもでっかいけど地味な子がいるなあと思っていたら、近くにもげて転がってる子もいて、なんかすごい色だしヒダの分岐具合も濃厚😃
ウラムラサキシメジもそうだけど、傘裏だけ派手な子たちって何を狙ってるんだろうと不思議です🤔

#fungi Warwickshire foray. Waxcaps in the rain, and a Merveille du Jour moth that came to see what we were doing. Oily Waxcap, Parrot Waxcap, red one to be checked. Quite a few others waxcaps too, some Earth-tongues
Oily Waxcap with smell of bugs. Showing salmon-tinged gills Emerging bright green, shiny button of a Parrot Waxcap Probably Scarlet Waxcaps, three nestled together. To be checked with microscope. The only red ones we saw Green and black lichen-camouflaged Merveille du Jour moth

I think my favorite thing about Parrot Mushrooms is that they can show up in so many different colors. This pair of peachy Gliophorus psittacinus decided to be soft yellow, orange, and pink! 🍑🌱🌿🟢🍄📷📸🎞
Two viscid and shiny mushrooms with peach-colored stipes and soft orange-pink caps grow tightly together. One has a half-inch long drip of slime hanging from its cap.
