Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

What it'll take is people not being forced to choose between paying for food and shelter and protesting. Which means, likely, even more massive layoffs and lack of job opportunities than we're seeing now. That's usually how it goes historically; mass unemployment creates the largest protests.

It was a DHS post on Twitter; "You have total immunity, if someone tries to stop you in any way (even standing in front of you) you can do whatever you want to them" was the gist of it. Dunno if it went between a Tweet, but the DHS Tweets have frequently been used as justification by fascists now.

Supposedly the creator said he's not coming back, but she also changes her mind a lot and has a giant lore book she shares with no one, so I've decided to just not have expectations based on hints and rumors. Makes life easier.

It also helped that the took the "so powerful that they solve every problem" characters and gave them logical weaknesses (Lucifer in particular). Also, Vox was a pleasure to hate.
And now that they're locked in for more than 8 episodes a little more season to season tension will be good.

The best way to handle streaming services, in my opinion. I only wish I didn't live in the middle of nowhere, making Amazon the only place I can buy food my cat will actually eat. 😥😅

One thing I'm really grateful I learned to do in 2025 was just let myself have little treats like some chocolate or a pastry on a regular basis without feeling guilty about it. I gained weight because of it but now I'm happier and sleep better.

Every now and then I like to clean out my email inboxes, get them back below 50 things on my "to do eventually" list. It's always interesting seeing how much sillier I used to be when I forwarded emails to myself. Now I just press fwd and send an empty message. I should try the silly again.

They have the best healthcare in the country, and frequently get both emergency interventions as well as all the benefits they pretend are bad in public. No natural selection, it's targeted culling.
