Messing about with a camera, mostly. Ex-Emergency Physician, now doing a job with waterways (bit like Cardiovascular medicine, really). Music, books, dancing, dancing to music.
If the principle is “Me Me Me”, then yes. He might have actually told the truth.

Ironically (and very anecdotally), this push towards a stronger definition of “feminine” is giving more & more girls nowhere to go if they don’t fit in (and maybe making some consider their gender is wrong).

Good luck to everyone who thinks the NHS or social care works without immigration. If people choose to come here to work in these sectors the least we can do is let them bring their kids and partners so they can enjoy some quality of life because god knows it’s not the pay and hours they’re enjoying

…imagine believing that anyone working under current working conditions in the NHS hasn’t earned it.
Imagine being presented with these accounts of stark unfairness and insecurity caused by the earned settlement plans and your response being ‘It is a privilege not a right to settle in the UK and it must be earned’ - the Home Secretary needs to go www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

Slightly ironic comparison with Chamberlain, given Starmer’s “I have in my hand a piece of paper” vibes over the US.

That sounds like it should be refreshing

This, for me, was always so important, and probably why I am such a supporter of the principles.

The patient would get as per need, not want (because they could afford to demand it). And I always knew that the correct treatment is an option.

Well how about we start acting like it

… so we’re going to make them wait until they’re properly ill and cost us an ambulance and a hospital stay

Probably correct that a female candidate gets minimal time, given the way female cabinet members have been treated

That sounds similar to a major teaching hospital having all of its servers off-site at a little known place called Buncefield.

The meanings of seven different types of animal poop in English…

7. Apeshit = angry
6. Batshit = unhinged
5. Bullshit = lies (or unfair)
4. Horseshit = bigger lies (or totally unfair)
3. Chickenshit = cowardly
2. Dogshit = inferior quality
1. Catshit = what you do when someone throws a ball at you

I believe in coincidence, but am I reading too much into the situation by considering Trump’s threats against the UK recently for standing up to him?

Great thread.
Ironic that the result of this is utter homogeneity, with little room for consumers to have individual tastes

Soon to be stopped as our road is going permit only during those times of day, hopefully before someone gets seriously injured.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
