Update: i tried resetting the DB back to its previous state (a if i hadn't updated it manually to begin with)
Result: to log in, only old handle. In the users tab, it shows old handle. From that account, accessing my profile link with old handle or mentioning it works. Doesn't work on this account

What would happen if my server burned down and I had to restore a backup where the handle is outdated? If the PDS doesn't automatically pick up on identity changes, that might be bad. At first I thought it was caching, but even after waiting hours (i think like, 8 hours), nothing really changed... +
