Personal news… I’m running a marathon to help children in Sierra Leone go to school! Just £4 can pay for a child’s education for a whole month, each month they stay is life-changing. Aid cuts mean support is needed more than ever. Pls chuck me a few ££! www.justgiving.com/page/gabriel...

Silence is survival in Haiti
In Haiti, fear and funding cuts have left many without a voice. Silence isn’t a choice—it’s a means of survival.

This was a very moving moment at the #AmnestyMediaAwards last night. From miles away, with an injured hand, Wael talked through a laptop camera to a room of journalists looking for a way to answer his call. Then we stood for a minute of silence to remember more than 230 journalists killed in Gaza.
🚨BREAKING: Wael Al-Dahdouh has just delivered a speech to journalists in the UK demanding our government stops arming Israel.

And telling UK journalists they must use their platforms to speak out against Israel's genocide or risk complicity.
