reasons why i should be allowed to drink beer at work :
1) it makes the autism go autisn't and so i'm much better at understanding people's need
2) it reducess stress which allows me to be way less clumsy (as long as i don't drink too much cause that will reverse the effect)

maybe we'll get back into building apps and website that use normal amounts of RAM instead of 10-15x what would be needed
I understand framing the AI bubble RAM supply crisis in terms of stuff like video game consoles because nerds can conceptualize that but the framing does really undersell the sheer magnitude of how it's going to fuck up everything that even touches a computer.

A guy came to me and saw my little Canon DSLR and went "oh that thing is old !!!" then "You're using it in auto mode ????? (i was in aperture priority)" then asked if he could try it, immediately put it in manual and took the 3 ugliest, most blurry and overexposed photos i've ever seen

Everytime i bought a computer in the past, i bought it knowing it wouldn't be fast enough but had no choice cause nothing better existed on the market, but the M1 Max Macbook is not only the first computer that didn't feel this way, but is still faster than i really need it to be even 4 years later.
