It means LFC feel the need to switch the public narrative from the club to the player, try to force his hand.

That won’t be appreciated by the player and this may drag on.

I think it’s time a good time to do ourselves a favour and accepted he’s going to Madrid. All the available evidence says so.

We will grieve in different ways, some with fury and some with tolerance, but it’s better for our own heads that we accept it now rather than torture ourselves.
