Many people were driven into military service because impoverished communities had so few choices for escaping a cycle of poverty, it was the only path by design. This Veteran's Day I think of them, and others who laid down their lives for a country betraying its own principles of "freedom."

If you’re still buying paper products from a big box or Amazon, consider Who Gives a Crap instead. They donate half of profits to helping those without access to toilets and clean water. They also use bamboo and recycled paper for #sustainability.

After the DCA crash and surge in near-misses, now is NOT the time to weaken flight training requirements for pilots.
