Power cut this morning that turned out to be a socket blowing the fuse. Then went to drive to a 10k race and the bottom of my car started scraping the floor… apparently the winds got under the panelling and ripped it off… looks like someone out there had different plans for me 😂

The Diplomat season 1 probably has some of the best writing on a show I’ve seen in years. Some of the dialogue is top tier

The reason I'm so positive about aspiring writers is that I believe that:
* Anyone who can string a sentence together can write a story, script or book.
* Anyone who puts enough time, effort, and workshopping into it can write a GOOD story, script, or book.
* Anything finished can be fixed.

It’s been an interesting 6 months. Started writing in June 2024, wrote 80,000 words (90%) of a fantasy novel. Shelved it. Wrote another 50,000 of another. Shelved that. Now forcing myself to post on #royalroad in mid-Dec for a litrpg fantasy…
