ok story idea: the Master gets the Doc with a Tissue Compression Eliminator, but because of the events of Planet of Giants (plus some technobabble), it turns out the Doctor isn’t harmed by shrinking. Issue is, how do they get back to normal…?
what does it say about me that Planet of Giants is my favorite First Doctor serial? Not necessarily the one I’d rate the highest, but my favorite

The issue with being so influenced by Homestuck is that I find writing in second person to be the most natural way to write, and people either dismiss 2nd person pov out of hand, or treat it as a gimmick with no utility outside specific genres or experiments

The problem with living in the genAI age is that people really underestimate just how uproariously funny and culturally important bad art can be. Like I'm one hundred percent serious "bad" messy art is so important.

For that matter, I’m kind of surprised how little it’s addressed that actual honest-to-god superheroes exist in the DWU. The Ghost springs to mind, of course. I’d be shocked if a couple other ones haven’t been introduced in obscure short stories or something

I don’t think most first worlders understand just how much the “liberal consensus” was predicated on the repression and exploitation of the third world under the guise of “fighting communism” (assuming any pretense was made at all in some cases). Sheer capitalist imperialism.
