My mum is flying to USA and going to Texas ... she thinks "it will be ok cause it's a red state". I advised her that maybe a holiday to a rogue nation isn't best. She didn't seem convinced - she wants to visit an old friend ... who lives in Texas and says "everything seems normal". Good luck mum

Given that healthcare for all requires political will, i'd say .... get more politics into healthcare funding it appropriately.

I watched Amistad and once again remembered the greatness of USA in the face of ignorance, greed and those who wanted to deny human rights. It's a story about great heroes and even there where the supreme court was stacked with slave owners John Quincy Adams won freedom where it was due

My K360 Gaming Keyboard that I thought had wifi/bluetooth .. doesn't. I chose a cheaper option neglecting to translate the Thai into .. "the wired only version".

Oh, you like donating 100s of millions to politics. Sure, we can use that money and put your name on all the good works like feeding the poor, health benefits and education rather than using it to corrupt politicians who ultimately funnel it all back from taxes paid by the poor and middle class.

I saw someone who has little programming experience complaining that people get started and have something great in a week - but they are long term coders. Oh yeah i've been coding for xx years ... whereas the new coder has little reference. I'll be, for example, reading the reference for pygame!

Why i started this thread, with my seeming boast ... is because I moved into gamedev. For some reason i started to want to do it more intensely than ever before.

So yes, the whole C language with Arduino last 15 years I put time. I did C# apps in Microsoft world once, didn't quite complete it but had other issues and work going on. I was mostly an IT management CIO type boss. I didn't want to "own" the code and be tied into responsibilities. That mentality.

I have, literally, been programming longer than almost anyone I've ever met. No kidding.
Does that mean I'm a great programmer, nope - i'm ok. I can read code in languages I see for the first time because ... that's not that hard. Yet, recent years more into fun coding microcontrollers/electronica
