Okay, I cannot recommend 5calls.org enough. Enter your address and it will find all your reps (federal and state). AND give you a list of issues to call about AND which reps to call about each of them AND a little script for each, in case it's helpful. They have an app, too.

I am more sorry than I can say about this but: every big information crisis leaves us interacting less with actual humans as the technologies we’ve invented can do certain things in ways that press our supernormal stimulus buttons better than people.

I retraced my steps and asked in Munchies cafe as that was the nearest spot to where I thought I had heard the clink and some kind soul handed it in and the staff had it for me. I’m in floods of tears, the chain seems gone but I have the locket. Thank you universe ❤️
